Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy

This is a painless, non invasive therapy that has many applications, including reducing pain. It can also help to reduce swelling and bruising, assist with bone healing and is also useful for muscle conditioning/ recovery in sports therapy.

It works by promoting normal function and cell voltage, to increase nutrient flow into cells; and enhance conditions for healing.

Not suitable for dogs with tumours, or heart conditions

Remedial exercises

A targeted program of remedial exercises will focus on developing weaker areas of the body. This could range from regaining wasted muscle after an injury and reducing compensatory problems, to  improving muscle balance.

Remedial exercises can also help to improve proprioception, core strength and musculoskeletal function in all animals.

Having the correct amount and distribution of muscle helps to support the joints to be able to cope with activity

Sleeping Dogs

Massage

Massage has many benefits including reducing pain, muscle spasm and muscle tension. Massage can improve joint range of motion and stimulate blood flow into the tissues to promote healing.

In sporting animals massage can help to optimise performance and improve recovery.
